In the tumu hub we have been presenting our family treasures

Hi my mum works in the army and when my mum went to Afghanistan she earned some medals for peace keeping these medals are very important to me and my family . Each medal is different coloured and means different things my mum worked very hard to earn these medals so we have to be gentle with them . We use these medals to remember my mum because she is in Iraq at the moment . when my mum gets back she will have more medals from Iraq she also earned four more medals from when she was in the us . When she gets back she will have twelve medals four in each set four from the Us , four from Afghanistan and she will be getting four more from Iraq my mum also got a mini set of medals that she earned in Afghanistan made for me but then she found out I was not aloud to wear them she also has a lot of individual medals my mums name is Ariana finch and when i am older hopefully the medals will be passed down to me and maybe if i have children.

In the Tumu hub we have been given a saint to research and find out information like Date and place of birth Important family information What life was like when they lived What they did that lead them to becoming a Saint How they could inspire people today to follow Jesus How their life ended When they became a Saint When their feast day is What they look like Symbol you could use for them The saint that chose to do was Kateri Tekakwitha     Kateri Tekakwitha was the first native American to be recognised as a Saint by the Catholic Church.   S he was born in 1656 in a Mohawk Village.
